Development Engineer

£25,000 – £35,000 p.a.

We are looking for a talented developer with a firm understanding of OO programming and good experience of MVC Frameworks.

You will be joining our growing, award winning development team. Located in central Leeds or from our new site in Seamer, North Yorkshire. This exciting new opportunity will see you working with a wide range of open source technologies within a demanding, highly available computing platform which manages multi million pound transactions.

You will play a key role in our Research & Development Team undertaking development projects and tasks relating to next generation uses of IP telephony, IVR, automation and future development of our CRM platform Actius.

As such, you will possess a wide ranging knowledge of the core skills listed here but also be able to research, adopt and harness new programming techniques and technologies.

Leveraging a wide range of skills, You will be both contributing new features to existing software platforms and starting new projects, to help deliver our market leading services to the big 6 utility firms and government agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a keenness to learn, teach and share ideas in what is a collaborative, non-hierarchical team. You will be given the ability to manage the path of your own projects.
